I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what was wrong with my brand new Ender 3 V2. The stock extruder gear was already worn out after only two weeks.

The extruder is fantastic and the ease of adjusting the tension makes even difficult filaments easy to handle. For someone who is looking to replace their stock extruder, this is a great product at a great price.

The dual extruder board is not supported by this firmware yet. We will eventually, but many changes are needed and simply changing some settings will not make it work. I am currently testing firmware on the and p boards right now so it shouldn't be too much longer until a testing build is out.
I figured it would allow me time to get comfortable with the VSCode development environment, clean out a lot of the residual MS Studio Embedded development code I have hanging around, plus get use to the difference between Windows Arduino and VSCode.
Once it installed and I went to compile the Ender3 configuration I received the six error messages I included plus the error that said " include errors detected. At this point I am more in the testing, trying learning mode than in the "I expect this to work out of the box mode.

As for dual on this Creality board the print quality will be about the same but the noise level will be much higher and it is running an 8 bit CPU so print speeds can be lower.

The basic requirements are that you have a board that supports 2 Extruder connections, 2 hotend connections, and 2 hotend thermistor connections.
However, if you are using a 2 into 1 adapter you only need a board that has 2 extruder connections. We are going to go over what you need for each setup and the pros and cons of each. Personally, we prefer the 2 into 1 setup due to its ease of use but they all have their advantages and disadvantages. TH3D is just supplying the parts to facilitate an easy upgrade path for dual extrusion. We do not bundle support with the parts directly. We do have a dual extrusion support channel setup on our Discord Support server.
